When woman chant Gayathri Mantra

Namaskaram. These days you are confronted with any number of controversial issues which would have been better left untouched. For example one is women visiting Sabarimalai, and the other is vedic chanting, gayatri etc. by women.


There are thousands of other temples which people can visit without any issue, why pick on something which has been prohibited for certain reasons over which we have no control?

And coming to Gayatri and Vedic Chanting: Oh yes, Women can do it, after all who can stop them from chanting Veda or the Gayatri? Prior to that have they attempted chanting Lalita Sahasranamam, have they attempted Sundara kaanda paarayanam, Vishnu Sahasranaamam etc? Why indulge in walking the unchartered path?

Do you know what happens when you chant the Gayatri and the Veda? It only helps your body generate more male hormones. Women would start sporting mustache and beard and may be even twirl their mush competing with menfolk! My grandfather who was a Saastrigal gave me this information. He attained Siva Lokam at the ripe old age of 98.

If women are willing to become male (in appearance too), no harm. They can chant the Gayatri and the Veda too. We can leave it at that.
